Below are the list of ministries that are on going at Prescott Christian Church.

We recognize that parents hold the primary influence in the life of a child and are called by God to be the  primary disciple makers in the home (Deuteronomy 6)Families come in all shapes and sizes, each facing their own opportunities, challenges, trials and victories. Our goal as a church is to come alongside parents

by equipping and encouraging them as they pursue Jesus.

As we strive to make disciples starting in Prescott, Kidz Town focuses on teaching children to Love God, Love Others, Serve God, Serve Others. We would love for your child to be a part of that!

During the 9:30am, 11:00am & 5pm services, we provide a safe, secure environment for children to learn about God.  We have background checked volunteers who love children and help them develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

(Infants through 2 year olds)

Offered all services

During every service we offer a safe, warm, fun environment for our little ones right next to the Worship Center.  We have amazing volunteers that are background checked that are eager to show God’s love to your little one!

(2 & 3 year olds)

Offered during our

9:30am, 11:00am & 5pm services.
When a child turns two, we will start to transition them to the Klub House.  Our Klub House is a fun environment for our toddlers to learn about God’s Word.  We typically spend a whole month learning the same Bible story, so the toddlers will really grasp onto the story.  Our spunky, background checked volunteers LOVE this age group and teaching them God’s Word.  We use Group Publishing’s Hands On Curriculum, it’s a two year curriculum that hits most of the major stories in the Old Testament and New Testament.

(Preschool & Kindergarten):

Offered during our 9:30am, 11:00am & 5pm services.

When a child turns four years old, they now get to go to the Lego House where we are building a strong foundation for our relationship with Jesus.   We will start to look how the Bible applies to our lives and live a life that honors Christ.

Our curriculum varies, but our background checked volunteers are always ready for a fun time learning about God’s Word!

(1st through 4th grades)

Offered during our  9:30am, 11:00am & 5pm  services.

The environment for our 1st - 4th graders is dubbed “The Warehouse” because we “store up God’s Word in our heart.”  It is an energetic, fun and practical teaching environment for your child.  Each week there is a take home, summarizing the lesson and gives pointers for parents on how to leverage that content throughout the week.

D6 Families - 18 videos (about 10 minutes each) that walk kids through the study of God…

It Starts at Home - a program parents can purchase that leads them in leading their children with weekly family devotionals

Pursue God Kids - a website that answers common questions kids have about God, and teaches preemptively.

Youth Group (YG @ PCC) Ministries

Club 56 (5th & 6th grade)  -  JrHi YG@PCC (7th & 8th grades)  -  SrHi YG@PCC (9th to 12th grade)

The purpose of YG @ PCC is to engage 5th to 12th grade students in a Christ-centered life. We want to seek and plant seeds in the lives of students who’ve not chosen to follow Jesus Christ yet, so that through God’s grace they can become followers of Christ. As well as, to facilitate those who are already following Christ to grow in their faith and to be true disciples of Christ. We do this through our weekly Youth Group meetings, Sunday mornings, special activities, retreats, mission trips, and building Christ-centered relationships with students.

YG @ PCC is not your typical youth group ministry.

We do not want to just go to church… we want to be The Church!

CLUB 56    (5th & 6th grades)

Club 56 is a ministry designed just for 5th & 6th Graders. It's a high energy environment where the students learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.   We meet during the 11:00am & 5:00pm services down stairs in the youth room.

We also meet one Saturday per month for something fun.

The vision of Life Groups at Prescott Christian Church is to “do life together” in a relational environment where we strive side by side to be disciples of Jesus.

Our groups are centered in the neighborhoods where we live. We intentionally reach out to serve our neighbors and model the love of Jesus.

Groups meet weekly to study and practice obedience to God’s Word, as well as pray and care for one another.

PCC’s heart is to promote evangelism and the message of God’s saving grace at home and around the globe.

We are blessed to have leadership with hearts for missions.  Prescott Christian Church is faithful to allocate 16.5% of contributions to support missions that sends monthly financial support to eight ministries, locally, in Arizona, and internationally.

Our desire is to provide opportunities for all of our partners to participate in mission ministry.

Several short-term trips are scheduled every year, these trips are diverse in destination and designed for all age groups.

You can be part of the prayer ministry by volunteering as a member of the Prayer Team. The Prayer Team prays for people at the Prayer Wall during every Sunday service.  We carefully evaluate each person who is interested to be sure they have a heart for people, are biblically sound and anxious to pray with those who may have quite difficult issues.

Prayer Partners is a ministry of those who consider PCC their home church.  Each Prayer Partner receives a monthly email assigning a specific PCC Ministry to pray for during that month such as Children's Ministry or Youth Ministry, etc.  In addition, you may be called on to pray for a specific event.

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalms 73:26

"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts."

Psalm 139:23.

"But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Joshua 22:5

Plain and simple – Our job is to honor and serve the person, just like Jesus would!! Our first priority is to meet the relational aspect – you are representing Prescott Christian Church, as a disciple of Jesus, to “hear” what the need of the person is. They may call in and say they need some painting done, but they really need someone to visit with, since they live alone. Priority number two is to meet the physical aspect – what task are they needing done? Meet each and every need with excellence!!
